The Financial Services Ombudsman (OFS) engaged with the public through the Malaysia Expo 2019 Halal Programme from 24 - 26 January 2019 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.
We want to emphasise the importance of OFS to the general public through this platform. The ultimate goal is to provide a basic understanding of how OFS assists to resolve financial disputes between consumers and financial service provider like banks and insurance companies.
Once again we appreciate the collaboration with Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) in asserting the availability of consumer protection services for the public for different areas of the financial system. We managed to engage with more than 300 visitors during the three-day event.
