Strengthening Public Engagement at the PJ Startup Festival 2019
The Ombudsman for Financial Services (OFS) in joint-effort with Securities Industry Dispute Resolution Center (SIDREC) had embarked on another initiative to enhance public awareness by participating in PJ Startup Festival 2019 organised by Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ) from 22-24 February 2019.
Our ultimate objective is to elevate the awareness of public on the function of OFS as an alternative channel in resolving financial disputes between financial service providers (FSPs) and financial consumers. We have successfully engaged with almost 500 festival visitors throughout the 3 –day event.
We also took the opportunity to share more about OFS with the audiences at one of the panel sessions, “Finance Inclusion, Fintech & Opportunity”.
